Ariel Robled is a Research Analyst Intern at GLAFPOL, where he supports research and analysis on governance and conflict issues in fragile and conflict-affected settings. His research interests include institutional fragility, governance, security, and peacebuilding operations across the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Ariel holds a double bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Florida International University. He previously held research and editorial roles with the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), the Cato Institute, and the Collegiate Institute of Middle East Affairs (CIMEA), where he currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of its publication The Needle. He has contributed to multiple platforms on topics ranging from regional development and democratic erosion to armed groups, and is passionate about producing analysis on conflict-affected regions.
